The Kids 1st Shape Puzzle App is a collection of 16 educational puzzles. Puzzles include the English alphabet, safari, musical instrument, and farm, transportation and number themes. The most unique feature of this app is the ability to hear words in Hebrew, though there is plenty of English material as well.
The instrument and alphabet puzzles are our favorite. Since the app gives you one puzzle piece at a time, the app plays well on the small iPhone screen without getting cluttered.
We love that the instrument puzzle plays a sample of music from each instrument along with repeating the instrument’s name.
In my opinion, the puzzles are best for ages 18 months – 3 years, but they would be really useful for older kids learning hebrew. My almost-4-year-old is intrigued by the hebrew puzzles, and I like that he knows there are different alphabets for different languages.
