During preschool story time at our library the other day they played this song that got all of the kids participating. It’s called Driving in My Car and it’s on the Ralph’s World CD.
I found this youtube video where you can hear almost the whole song….
But the most fun part, which they don’t really do in the video are the motions……here’s how we did it….
- Whenever there’s a “beep”, pretend to beep the horn in front of you.
- Whenever there’s a “swish”, move your arms back and forth like windshield wipers.
- Whenever there’s a “pllpt (muffler sound)”, make a raspberry sound with your mouth.
- Whenever there’s a “hi”, wave your hand.
